2007 mustang v6 79k
any input is VERY appreciated
1st problem...started as a small radiator leak..just at the seam of the top of the radiator..small amount of coolant leaked and would steam off from the hot radiator..now i think my water pump has gone? i dont know...ALOT of water is now leaking (added water instead of coolant for temporary use) seems to be leaking from around the engine...not the radiator (well maybe it still is) i am now trying to figure out were the leak is starting
2nd problem...my serpentine belt keeps shredding ...last belt was on a week ago and completely shredded (needed tow home)...thank god for AAA...the second belt i put on has now shredded off 1.5 ribs of the 6...i dont see a stuck pulley...unless it only happens occasionally
symptoms of both problems have been a high rpm at idle...around 950-1000...feels sluggish (not much power at the wheels from gas pedal)...seems to have some type of ticking while driving
i have no mechanical experience besides changing my alternator and belt a few times now...PLEASE HELPPPPP
