I went ot my dealer and found this little sweetheart and could not resist. What do you think they where both the same money what one would you have picked?

2011 5.0 Blk on Blk GT Pro pack, 3.73, GT scoop/spoiler, glass roof, Brembo brakes, HID's, every option available except Nav and a shaker 1000.

Or

NEW 2010 Shelby GT500 White with grabber Blue stripes, HID,s. The only other options available on the Shelby was the shaker 1000 this one has the 500.

Pics of both attached...

I live in Canada and the GT I ordered was $46,195.00 The Shelby was the last one on the lot Zero miles on it but it was marked down to $45,995.00 so i scooped it up last night and take delivery this Friday..
Nice! post more pic!
DAmn, either way, YOU WIN!!!

Great job! I'm more than just slightly jealous...
:D
Wow... I would have taken the GT500 too in a heartbeat...
These are the only 3 pics I have of my new baby. I think I made the right choice taking the Shelby at that price who could resist? I will take more pics once its home this friday...

What do you think did I make the right choice? Or should i have waited?

i would much rather have the GT500, especially for the same price. forged 5.4 supercharged over an almost forged 5.0 n/a.

To me that's not even a fair contest, you made the right choice for sure.
GT500 - no brainer to me! Think it will hold it's value better, got more power right off the get-go. Want more, little pulley change and re-tune. Think they were only going to build 2000 of them for 2010, makes them rarer yet. You will learn to respect the power!

Wow, that would never happen in the U.S. Yes, you can get a 2010 GT500 for $45K, but I've never seen a 5.0 that expensive, not even close. The only "loaded" one I saw was $38K with NAV and the whole works.
thatd be a tough one....i think id end up going with the 5.0 for handling/mpg....but hey i cant blame you for choosing the fast one
I just picked up my GT Saturday and I love it. I don't need a Shelby I have a 03 Cobra ha ha.:winks

I am buying the 2011 Mustang but the 03/04 Cobra has a very very... very special place in my heart. When I'm rich (laughs) I plan on buying a black 03 or 04 Cobra. Amazing cars.

The Cobra really belong to my wife. Ha ha She loves that car more then me...:nogrinner
Intgeresting. Look at the difference in height with the Cobra v.s. the 2011 GT.
First, Congratulations! Second, very smart move! I really don't think you'll loose any sleep over your decision.
Enjoy!
I would go GT500 for wow factor.
Same price?? Never would happen here in NJ.. I looked a new 2010 GT500 in Grabber and they still wanted $48,500.

Same price, like someone said, its a no brainer, take home the Shelby !!

Best of Luck !
