Ok I have a 2000 ford mustang and I bought it from a dealership Thursday. The car is a gt but the previous owner did a motor swap before giving it to the dealership and they put a v6 in it. The car has nitto tires, pods, and racing seats already in it so I'm assuming they used it for racing and I wanted to know what motor would be good to put in it to do street racing. Any input and or advise would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Depending on your budget, at a minimum I would be looking for a low mileage 2001-2004 4.6 2 valve. the 2001-04 4.6 liter v-8's had the new style PL heads which was good for a few more ponies....
