Hi there... saw your post and seeing as I just got through doing a cam swap/head swap myself, I figured I would toss my two cents worth in. Myself, I chose a crane powermax 2020, it's an agressive cam that works well with fuel injection controls. The specs are as follows:
total lift: 530/530
intake- 3 atdc (open) 31 abdc (closed) max lift 107, duration 208
exhaust- 45bbdc (open) 9 btdc (closed) max lift 117, duration 216
I also used they're double springs (pt#99838-16) and retainers (pt#99944-16).
I did change things up a bit, the cam card calls for stock ratio retainers, but I chose to go with the 1.7 ratio energizer roller rockers (pt#44746-16) whitch changes the whole dynamics of the cam, but no interfearance was found and made for a strong running motor.
The cylinder heads I chose were a set of E7 heads with a little masaging and port matching:winks (worth the extra expense). Honestly, I can't complain..this thing makes power lile no tomorow and revs through the power band like gang busters. (just so you know, the spring kit keeps valve float at bay up to 7000 rpm).
