The offset is wrong. Normally you would be looking at a 20-25mm offset and this is a 43mm. It would could be rubbing on brakes, or suspension components.

My question now is, what size spacer/component do I need so the wheel will fit?

thank you... but is that even possible? seems a bit big... would I need longer studs on axle to compensate for the "1"" too?

The spacers come with the studs made onto them. Just go on ebay and search for Mustang spacers. You'll see what I mean. I have spacers on a couple of my cars, one has 1 1/4". If they're put on correctly (and correctly, to me, means that they're tightened up properly, as well as thread lock used on the lug bolts that hold the spacers on so they don't loosen), you should have no problems at all.
