This might sound stupid, but I have done it...did you check the window "lock" on the drivers side window control panel? It is only on conv......lol

Actually I had the same problem this past summer. I took it to a shop they couldn't find the bad wire. So rather then tracing it and spending $75 an hour, my buddy just replaced the wire all together, haven't had a problem since.

Check the switch for power and ground if not that then the motor went out
