The only tune I would feel safe with on my 2011 GT,is the one that come"s out of my radio, and I don"t have to change stations when I take it to the dealership,my warranty is also not in question, the thing is perfect for me right from Ford, just my $02.

threw on 93 race tune with airaid CAI and magnaflow competition catback.
the difference was.....phenomenal.
stock on a hot summer day u can launch the car dumping the clutch at 3k and be on your merry way (when the tires are really hot)
now?
......
just took it for a spin at the local 1/8th mile with tc off first spun to redline second spun to redline and third spun for a while... LOL
needless to say that run wasnt a record breaker...but nevertheless it put a BIG grin on my face.
need new tires....
(stock brembo package tires atm)

Go with the tune, you will not be disappointed. The throttle response alone is worth it. Huge difference in how aggressive the car runs, even with just the 87 street tune.

Why are people running race tunes in their street cars? I want them to make me a "this is my wife's daily driver 91 octane" tune.
You get 3 tunes when you order from Bama. Street tune is what you would want on your wife's car. I run a performance 93 tune cause I didn't like launching everytime I stopped and started.

Unreal, you might be surprised how much your wife and you enjoy a tune, even race tune, especially with an automatic. Your right foot is still in control:bigthumbsup Usually you get 3 tunes with a programmer, street, performance, and race, so you can pick which fits you.

Because its fun and puts a smile on my face every time I drive the thing. After I flashed my 2011 gt with the bama 93 race tune, I almost prefer driving it over riding my 1098 Ducati.

I understand the point of a tune. I've been tuning GMs and other cars for years. What I don't understand is running an agressive "race" tune on the street. Running the street tune is what I'll do, but I don't see the need for the agressive race tune just to go around town.

Just received my 91 street/performance/race tune last Friday. Loaded the performance tune into my stock 11 GT/CS Auto Saturday and haven't looked back. Once again great to fix the lag between gear changes! (I had a superchips tune on my 06 GT).

BTW, does anyone know if I upgrade to a cat-back borla exhaust if I should go back to stock and wait for a new tune (tunes for life member). Or do you think it would be okay with the stock 91 tune and the borla added afterward until the new tune comes in?

Was never an issue in the 06, all the upgrades were done before I ordered the tuner...

contact Bama before you install the catback, theyll write the updated tunes, do the catback install then load your new tunes. there is nothing stopping you from contacting Bama at any time and giving them a list new mods for updated files, you can hold onto the new files as long as you want before using them

Everyone make sure you get a baseline dyno. I didn't do that and I regret it. I wish I could see my progress over the years. And what everything adds especially the tune.

Also its great knowing that my a/f ratio is perfect and that bam a corrected minor things to my tune to make it perfect for my car/geographical location.
