youtube is a good place to look
2011 5.0 cammed - YouTube

Replacing the cams will not give you a lopey idle like they did on older cars. The 5.0 Coyote has twin independent variable cam timing which by itself can get you the idle lope with nothing more than a tune. It can also make the biggest cams idle like your mom's Camry.

Search for 'cammed tune', 'ghost cam tune', 'idle lope'.

I agree, nothing sounds better than a Mustang with a good exhaust set up and a high duration cam. I'm no expert on the new 11 Stangs and their computers, but I have heard that some computer tunes produce a very nice lope at idle. Might even be better than a cam swap on your still new car. Good luck!

I was coming here to say that, you clearly only want the sound perspective of them and not the performance so give bama a call and ask them to give you a ghost cam tune, you qualify if you have o/r pipes, and are a manual 5.0

If you want cams you're gonna get little to no lope and pay FAR out of your ass for install

i want the performance aspect of them too without a doubt but i want to make sure that the one i get perhaps gives me a nice lope. ive heard about and seen the vids of the cam tune and i think its cool but i dont want it dumping gas at idle for no reason. id rather have the lope and cams. any suggestions?

and if i already have a bama tuner, could i just ask them for the cam tune? i have unlimited tunes for life

Cams on this engine won't give you lope, period. TI-VCT completely eliminates that unless you tune the computer for it. And yes, you'll be dumping more fuel for the lopey tune. Plus the cost of the cams themselves which you may end up being disappointed with and the cost of install? My suggestion: supercharge.

Yes. You won't get any performance but you can ask them to write you a ghost cam tune. But you won't gain any performance from it. With Stage 2 cams from Comps, you end up losing some low end but gain mid/high to high. So unless you're loud pedal is spending a lot of time in race car mode, don't even bother with new cams.
