I was killed :(

Tonight on my way to town after work, I was in a four lane, 45mph zone, and I was doing probably 47mph. Anyway, I started to pass a semi that was slow in accelerating, but he picked up as I got about halfway past him. I was just gonna let him pass me and fall in behind him, but this 90 something Chrysler Sebring comes up behind me and (get this) flies past me in the CENTER LANE, only the most Illegal place to pass someone, doing probably 70mph. Well, She was obviously unhappy with me blocking her path around the semi for five seconds and she flipped me off :sterb: So I of course floored it and caught up with her no problem... Well, then she started to pull away again, and I pulled up next to her again, doing aroun 100-ish... Well, I went ahead and pushed nikki to 112(gov) and thought, yeah, like an old sebring is gonna have a higher gov than me... well, she just cruises right past me and keeps going... faster :( I guess my ego took a big hit in the groin because I am still very upset about it... I guess I'm gonna have to save up and get an SCT or something to take that gov off... its like hitting a brick wall :sosad:

Anyways, I've been brutally humbled by a product of GM

Hold up there homeboy!

That was a Chrysler, not a GM.
Take pleasure in knowing that I've smoked several Sebrings with my F150, in your almost exact situation. I hate it when people fly up on my bumper!!!! Something about those cars turns the driver into raging idiots, maybe they feel fast.

I think with the limiter disabled you would have no problem taking them out, cheer up.:happyhapp
Oh, I thought that whole, Daimler/Chrylser, Jeep, Dodge, Plymouth, etc was all GM... Oh well, then I was brutally humbled by a Chrysler...

You're absolutely right however... those sebrings are all driven by maniacs!

No worries! I'll seach out a Daimler product and embarrass them for you tonight on the way home, if any are willing to try the GT. Usually you get the fools that bought into the Hemi hype to play....

Just get a tune in the meantime, and disable the limiter. YOU WILL SMOKE THEM!
theres an ECU unit that they sell for hondas and acuras that have the governor removed, they are only like $240. im sure you can get an aftermarket one for ford for pretty cheap. they are really good investments because you can dyno tune the ECU and get an extra 100 horsepower or so from tuning the fuel, retard, timing and stuff. the only thing you really need to do is pay for the tuning, it usually runs about $140/hr. but it dosent take that long to tune it.

its a good investment, id look into a unit for a ford.

100HP???? From just tuning??? Sorry more like 10HP... maybe a little more if you run a 91 or 93 octane tune... The SCT X-Cal and X-Cal2 are great products... just don't expect miracles... To get an extra 100HP you'll need A LOT more than just a tune and a few simple bolt ons...

He forgot to mention his fart can, and "stick on R." Those always adds a butt load of HP!:evillol:

But to get the full 100hp, you need a column mounted fire extinguisher!!!:evilchuck
Okay, I've decided to get the X-Calibrator2....
Can someone point me in the direction of the cheapest place to get one?
I've checked v6mustangstuff.com, way too much/ mustangtuning.com is a definite maybe, and those are the only places I know to look.

It was GTR high performance out of Ranch Cucamonga, CA.

I lost their website, but they had the best prices for that programmer.
i found it, its www.gtrhipo.com, but they're under construction right now :(
