I would love too have a heads up display in my Mustang. Something that I can integrate other devices with.

I'd love too be able to link my Radar Detector to a heads up display. I'd also love it if the heads up display could display text messages and other phone notifications and GPS information (when to make turns and so on).

I would also love a USB port on the back of my rear view mirror. Many in car electronics are going towards USB ports and the cigarette lighter is becoming a thing of the past. I would love to be able to plug my radar detector into a USB port behind my mirror so that I do not have a cord dangling from it. That could also potentially be a nice place for people to plug in GPS devices.

In all I would like more options for integrating my personal electronic devices.

Radar detector or GPS/Phone..

They do make a wire plug that plugs into the back of the mirror.. But I believe it could potentially void the warranty.

I would more then anything like a heads up display and 3-4 USB ports delete the cigarette lighter. Then have 3-4 Aux. displays for the heads up display.

I have a mental image of how it would work in my mind and it would be amazing..

I'm sorry but this is a terrible idea. People need to put their phones away and focus on them less while driving, not more.

I'd rather see something that blocks cell phone signals in the car and prevents people from interacting with them while in gear before I saw an option to read text messages on my windshield.

Meh who said I would be reading the text messages? It could just display text from so/so or the incoming caller number. It's with in line of site and should not be a huge distraction.. Then again I over estimate peoples ability to multi-task.

We can make phone calls and answer them. Before I answer them I look at the nav to see who is calling anyways..

As for blocking the cell phone signal, that's a serious federal crime... As for the Radar Detector being displayed yeah I would just like it too display signal type and strength.

I speed a bit in 15 years of driving I've never been in any serious accidents. I did get into 1 fender bender when I was 17. But aside from that I've yet to wreck a vehicle or be involved in a major wreck.

Why should anybody not there in the car with you expect you to provide them with even limited availability while you're driving? You weren't born to be at anybody's disposal 24/7/365 except your own, so it's not something you owe anybody.
