Are you still using the idle air valve? What rpm did you set your idle at with it disconnected?

Mine does almost the same thing. With mods like you and I have, I think this is typical. I may have a vacuum leak between my upper and lower intake. Mine is not a daily driver so it is tuned for the track. I don't have a chip though. Check your idle air valve and make sure it is not dirty and is functioning. With my car it is hit or miss. Sometimes it fires up and idles fine, other times I have to hold the throttle until it levels off and idles normally. Could be the mods? I have done the base idle reset and had great results, but then later on it goes back to the same thing. Try taking out the chip and base set the idle maybe?

it was a vacuum line that got hot with the new mods and was getting pinched together when air was getting sucked through it got new line and a little bit of a heat shield that I rapped around it and good to go. checked it couple times already its still good after driving it the past three weeks.
