SO FOR ALL OF YOU 5.0 OWNERS ITS A NICE DAY IN THE BAY AREA. iTS A DAY TO TAKE MY T-TOPS OFF....
BUT WHEN I WENT TO TURN ON MY CAR THE "RPM'S" DIDNT STAND STILL THEY WENT UP AND DOWN UNTIL THE CAR WENT OFF.
I FINALLY GOT THE CAR MOVING AND STARTED DRIVING AROUND 30+, WHEN I DECIDED TO TAP THE BRAKES GOING DOWN A HILL, IN NEUTRAL....AND THE CAR JUST RANDOMLY SHUT ITSELF OFF...THE OTHER PROBLEM IS THAT ITS OVER HEATING....WHAT SHOULD I DO?

THX

Be sure to check your IAC valve. As for overheating, where to begin? Can you post back with a bit more specifics into how bad it's overheating? But for starters, thermostat, waterpump, radiator, radiator cap, bad hose(s), clutch fan or even a headgasket are all things that can/will cause overheating issues.

Pull the codes from the ECM to make sure nothing sensor wise is causing the idle surge. How do you know its over heating, If you going by the stock gauge, DONT. And Please take the Caps lock off your key board.
