My 2011 Mustang has a illumination issue with the steering wheel buttons, headlight switch, traction control, hazards and truck only. Seems like they are on a separate circuit but i have checked all fuses A local Ford specialist said it is possible the the smart juction box could have a bad circuit and would need to be replaced (at the tune of $800)
I wondered if anyone else have had this issue.. It sucks not being able
to see your steering wheel controls at night. Thanks for your help!
If you do need to replace that $800 box, go to a junkyard first. I've never heard of one of those things going out. If that is what your problem is, you can get it fixed cheaper than $800.
