hello all.
i have been wanting a mustang my entire adult life. almost 3 years ago i had an accident at work and i lost my ring finger on my left hand. been fighting it since then but i finally settled and my money cleared a couple days ago. i bought my wife a chrysler 300 and i finally got my mustang.
i bought a 2000 gt convertible with 86k miles. a stock, 1 owner car.
i'm super excited about it.
i hope to meet some cool people here so we can chat it up.
i must say that this process was super stressful.
people are so darn strange. i thought paying cash for a car would be no problem but it was a serious hassle.
of course i searched craigslist a lot but darn...people
ive looked at several cars and not a single one was represented how the ad said.
even if they said something like 'needs a little work', i get there and it is super ragged out. people tell me they will call me at such and such a time and they never do.
i was looking at one and the ad said it had 36k miles on it stock. there was a pic of the dash and it said almost 90k.
i called and asked about the discrepancy and the dude got mad and said 'good day' and just hung up.
anyway, im grovit. nice to meet you all
