Hi everyone, im new here. Just thought i would say hi. Ive had 3 mustangs so far. A 92 5.0 LX that was stock except for pullies and exhaust. That car ran 13.90's at 98 mph w/ 2:73's on street tires. I sold it cause bills were tight. Then i bought a 1966 coupe 6 cyl. and a 90 5.0 donor for a resto mod. Never finished that project. Now I own a 91 GT 5.0 conv. With basic bolt ons, stock long block, 3:73's, Nitto 555r's, and (NA) my best 1/4 was 13.52 at 101.7 w/ a 1.96 60ft. with the charger and a 6lb pulley I went 13.01 at 108.91 with a 2.06 60ft. and an open rear as my traction lock was gone. Before the rear went I was running the 1/8th and my best run was 8.14 at 85.56 w/ 1.82 60ft. Since then ive added a 7" crank pulley and a 9lb pulley for the charger and now im making 11lbs of boost, but the track is closed for the winter. I worked on my brothers low 11 sec 90 GT for years with him when he had it. It had all the access. and and with him in the car weighed over 3700lbs. Any how between my brother and I we have had several stangs torn down and built up more than I care to admit. My goal for my car is to get it into the 11's with the stock heads and cam. My 1/8 mile pass was good for a 12.5-12.6. when i get my rear rebuilt im going to run MT ET streets and will have 4 more pounds of boost. So far no one thought my full weight vert would run what it does now, but theres and 11 in it if the extra boost doesnt break anything.
