Ive been thinking of getting that chin spoiler myself but not its a definate. It looks good :thumbsup . can you give me the website and what you paid for it? thanks
Thanks. I got it at http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/656.html for $225. That's the unpainted version because I didn't want a textured paint, I wanted it to match the rest of my car.jplaytym said:Ive been thinking of getting that chin spoiler myself but not its a definate. It's made of eurathane so it's pretty flexible. To get it around the corners during installation you have to really flex it but it never feels like it would break, only flex more. It really lowers the appearance of the front end even though my suspension is stock. I was considering lowering the car by 1" but dang, then I'd only have about 4" clearance in front. I haven't whacked it yet, I have so far remembered it's there each time I've parked but I'm sure that day is coming.2horseowner said:I like it. I have the classic on my car. You're right... The CDC pictures really leave a lot to be desired. I ordered the classic as a result. If I'd seen your pics first, I probably would have gone aggressive.5twenty said:This weekend I finished up installing and painting my new CDC agressive chin spoiler. There's been some talk of how the agressive chin spoiler is similar to the classic chin spoiler. Unfortunately the pictures on the CDC website do not do justice to the agressive spoiler. Here are some pictures. It totally changes the look of the front end, for the better in my opinion. Much more than the classic chin spoiler.
It never fails to amaze me how a company like CDC is smart enough to develop the awesome products they sell yet is not smart enough to put a photograph on their website that accurately represents the product.stlwagon said:You're right... If you look at the yellow Mustang in this linkMachOne said:That chin spoiler looks great! Was the install pretty straightforward? Was any modification of the existing front end required?
Did you have it painted white or go with the black?MickMach said:I have the classic also.....very nice add on piece. looks great on your black car!
Lol:kooky: Sorry I couldnt pass that up.2horseowner said:............. I whack it all the time since the car is lowered. How flexible is it?
Heh, I used a $5 box cutter - it was a piece of cake.5twenty said:...I used a reciprocating nose saw but you could easily do it with a $5 knife style hacksaw, anyone could do it...
I was a bit worried before I installed this but it was really easy, wasn't it? Got some pictures, delurker?delurker said:Heh, I used a $5 box cutter - it was a piece of cake.
It was a breeze. Here are a few pics I snapped afterwards.5twenty said:I was a bit worried before I installed this but it was really easy, wasn't it? Got some pictures, delurker?
