how did you do the lights in the center console? my friend did the same thing to his truck, but never said how he did it
it is really easy. all you have to do is take out the circuit boards desolder the leds and solder in what ever color lcd you have. its just time consuming, i did it in 6 hrs. it was worth it i got really tired of looking at those green lights. next weekend im going to do change the led's in the doors and the tach .how did you do the lights in the center console? my friend did the same thing to his truck, but never said how he did it
i bought the led strips from ebay and the instructions came from mike:gringreen.This is probably a stupid question, but where did you get your LEDs? I saw some LED strips on ebay, but not sure if that is what you used..![]()

no, he used the strips for the underdash footwell areas. he used the tiny led bulbs to replace all the accessory bulbs. heres a writeup on how to do that. it is a little involved but still pretty cool.So, basically what your doing is buying LED light strips and removing them from the strip and installing them in place of all the LED's in the car interior.

everything is the same. the car has green leds stock all i did was change the color.just kinda curious bout this but did this affect your voltage at all? raise or lower?
Yes they do :laugh:. i tapped into the dome lights on the passenger side so when i open the door the lights turn on. its the black wire with light blue stripe & yellow wire with green stipe. check out Mikes write up on it his instructions were very easy to follow.So what did you use for a power source for your lights? I was thinking of using the constant power wire from the radio but i wasnt sure of how that would affect it. also i plan on installing a switch....honestly i could careless about the LED strips but women love red lol:winks
