Too many things... give me some more info does it crank? If so is it attempting to start or backfiring or just cranking and nothing? I am in the process of doing the top end on my car too with some edelbrock goodies and trick flow cam hope mine starts... should find out this week:myangel
yes it cranks over and wants to start/backfire. ive turned the dis 180 and tried that just in case but still nothing. it seems so close.. like its just something so small..

Checked the secondary ignition system? Thick film modules love going out on our Foxes :sadcry:.
hmm.. i have a few spares, what might cause that to fail? it worked before the build.

The heat is what kills them usually and depending on where you stored the parts the heat we have been having can be magnified in a shed or non climate controlled area with the door or window open to vent away some of the heat.

Can you narrow it down to spark or fuel????
thanks man, my parts are all in my garage but my door is shut 50% of the time. actually having this same problem with my 92 as well... ill let you know man. thank you!
Is the tach jumping around when you try to crank?
I can smell fuel so i dont think it would be that.
the tach moved a little when i was giving the car a jump. but dont think i did when i was cranking it over.
What is the timing at? Did you install the cam straight up? Do you have the firing order correct?
I'd guess a timing issue. pull the oil fill cap and put a ratchet on the crank bolt and pull the distributor cover. Rotate clockwide and watch the rockers on #1 through the oil fill tube. When the intake valve moves through it's cycle and the exhaist moves right after that you'll be at TDC, mark that TDC on the exhaust stroke. Rotate the crank one more revolution to TDC on compression stroke (you verified TDC right?) and align the dist rotor with the #1 cap marker. Now rotate crank to 10 degrees BTDC on the balancer and center the rotor button on the #1 cap marker with the dist base and then tighten the dist lock bolt. If the TFI hits anything, you'll have to re-stab the dist and start over. When your done, start the car and reset timing to where you want it.

timing is at stock placement
I'd suspect the ECU needs a custom/ retune in lieu of the new injectors and mass air
But shouldnt it start even without a tune? i have a PMS to tune it but i need to have it running first.
SHE LIVES!!! thank you guys, It was timing. I looked up the HO timing online but somehow grabbed the non ho instead. went to make sure yesterday and yep.. it was off.. but it runs and drives great now! i have it memorized now though :gringreen 13726548 13726548 13726548!!
