I am the proud owner of a 1981 ford mustang convertable/ intermeccanica cabrio. From what I have found ford did a short run of Italian made mustangs which was a flop. The one I have there was roughly 1200 made. So my question is, is this a rare car that could be valuable our is it simply worth what a 81 mustang convertable would go for any response would be apreciated thanks.

Welcome to AFM! Your post interested me so I just googled and did a bit of research on these. The same company was also responsible for the 1965 Mustang stationwagon concept. That idea did not do so well either. However, from the posts I came across it does not seem that anyone who has the Cabrio in their possession is interetsed in selling them. Then again I didn't dig too deeply. Hopefully someone who has a bit more knowledge on these will see your question and have better insight.
