Hey all just starten out in the mustangs had several but finally might be able to keep me one. Got a 1980 Mustang 351w with 1993 front clip giving it the newer look, but got a great deal the other day seems fishy. I need some help from everyone. All it needs is to be put in time and have valves adjusted. Gotta get rid of it quick for a down payment on a 2004 Mustang GT. It has the mach 1000 system in it and more add ons.Guy only wants 4500 dollars for it. It is in awesome condition but heres the catch no title. is it really worth the money and could i save by buying it and getten a title cause the normal price your looking at around 10 grand off a car lot any help helps

Welcome to AFM! Does it have a salvage title or just no title at all? If it were me I'd steer clear. There are too many good Stangs out there that are on the up and up and you don't want to get taken advantage of.

No worries bud... wish I could help you more. You said it yourself that it seems fishy... sometimes it's best to play it safe. Like I said, there are a LOT of good Mustangs out there that need homes that are on the up and up.
