i clicked on a link that ended up bringing me to the 5 star shine website. stuff used to keep your car clean for a very long time. i guess its like the zaino stuff. anybody know if its any good? it says its guaranteed or your money back, any ideas?

Never heard of it. That does not mean anything though. So much stuff out there right now, Something new comes out every week.

That stuff has been around for awhile. I saw that website last May. I don't know anyone who has used it though.

I looked into this one time. Basically, the product didn't seem to damage paint, but it didn't change a whole lot either for more than a typical wash/wax. Definitely not a "forever shine!" product, but everyone should know by now that there is never such a thing.

Kind of what I fugured. Go with a Mcguires or something like that. You cannot go wrong with that stuff.

No kidding! I had to do some post-winter detailing, so I went out and got some Meguire's Gold Class wax, Quick Interior Detailer, and Leather Conditioning Spray. Oh man, when I was done.... I think it looked better than the first day I got it!

Also, Mother's has good products. Back to Black works really well to get dirt/waterspots out of the stock grille without much pressure or rubbing...but there are a LOT of little honeycombs!
