Hey Guys,

I placed an order for a shift ball last week. I have not recieved any confirm or info. I tried calling them a few times and sent an email but no answer. Is this typical or perhaps they are closed?

I hope they are not going to be closed! I want to get a jam nut adapter from them as I finally found the shift-knob of my dreams! =)

Mine was just delivered 2 weeks ago. They were a little slow with emails, but customer service was good! I was originally shipped the wrong adapter, but GP made it right without waiting for the wrong item to be returned first.

I emailed them twice on 7/4/11 and did a follow up on 7/6/11 to see if they got the emails... then I called on 7/7/11 and left a voicemail. Today I called and had to leave another voicemail. I'm getting discouraged. I want to order a knob for my 2006 but worry about the response time. Are they overran with orders or just normally this slow?

Well I figure theyre a simple shop, and they seem to be producing good stuff so I figure why would they up and quit. I got a confirmation email from them a few weeks ago telling me that its in production. I hear they take a few weeks to deliver so I'm not sweating it. I would say go for it. I think they are just slow and unresponsive but the end product seems to be worth the wait. I will update when I get it in.

I finally got some feedback from them on my order placed on June the 3rd. Here's the email.

Please accept my apology for the delay in responding to your messages. We
have been having problems with our email but I think it is working now.

We are about 2 weeks behind on orders for Shift Knobs due to a problem at
the factory that produces the urethane resin. The factory tells us that we
should receive a shipment by the middle of next week. We will produce knobs
as quickly as possible once the resin arrives. I'm hoping that we can have
your order ready to ship in the next 7 to 10 days.

This situation has been very frustrating for all of us and I can assure you
that we are taking steps to ensure that delays like this do not happen again
in the future. We greatly value your business and appreciate your patience
and understanding.

Thank you.

Yeah, I could have told you guys this a couple weeks ago. I placed an order on May 29th and I am still waiting. I just sent an email to them. I have been patient for pretty long, and I understand their problem with a shortage, but I am just plain and simple tired of waiting. If I 1. don't hear back within the next 24 hours (I also sent an email last week some time with no reply) or 2. am told that I will not have my knob for another week + I am cancelling my order for th knob.

Just too long of a wait.... two months about now...
