So I noticed the other day when i took my 1966 200 Mustang for a ride that my oil pressure gauge had gone down from just about half to just below half, it seems to fluctuate. Is this something i should be concerned about?
Simply put, a cold engine will read higher than a hot engine. The warmer it gets, the more the oil thins, lower pressure. RPM's will also have an effect, idle less than cruising speed.
