Just ordered an Airaid CAI, been waiting too long, can't let the $50 rebate pass this time.
However, is it possible to change that pinkish color of the filter(or maybe something else)? That just doesn't really look right to me...

You could get a different brand filter that will fit it. I've heard good things about spectre filters, I think they're blue... Maybe someone else can comment on if they have one that will fit the airaid.

Also, you could order a pre-filter from Airaid. Then it'll be black.

Throw an outerwears on it. Doesn't decrease flow by any significant amount.

If you get the oiled filter you could wash it out and get a re-oil kit from a company that uses blue colored oil to re-oil it.

Or you could not worry about it and just run it as it is.

Just buy another filter, I think that would be the easiest bet... north worth trying to change the color of the pre-existing airaid filter.

Also, I think it looks fine, and pretty standard under the hood, but it's all personal preference.
