I just installed sr v2 coil overs on my 2004 gt and when I was seating the rear springs I noticed when the pressure was taken off the suspension with the shocks and quad shock attached the spring looked like this.

I just wanna make sure this is fine since it’s my first time installing coil overs it seats normally when there is pressure on suspension.

What did you end up doing?
Doesn’t look as if could be upside down? Those have 2 locknuts one for height adjust, other to lock in place. Made to adjust for differences I’d say…
If that spring is "loaded" - that is the weight of the car is on the suspension and the wheels are on the ground - then NO THAT IS ABSOLULTEY NOT NORMAL.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you installed those upside down and you are not going to to like the road-test results.

I guess if that spring is half the length of the oem one it's not going to bend when the suspension arm is hanging on its own with no load. Doesn't look that safe if doing a "dukes of hazard" jump but that's what you get from the design department of the aftermarket. Who knows maybe they did quality testing before selling on the market.
