it should be cast aluminum. it would have to be very VERY clean and pre-heated, so the TIG isn't over stressed, but like 89 said and good welding shop should be able to do it.
Is the case of the t5 able to be welded
One of the pieces where it has the bolt hole and bolts to the bell housing broke off..just dropped the transmission and found it like that

just have to use the correct rod for such aluminum alloy, clean it very good, pre-heat and melt some metal
