hey guys on my 5.0 now i have just a big filter. its the stock rubber pipe coming from the T/B then my maf then a big filter. i heard many times im actually losing power from this because it is sucking in all the engine heat. will i see more hp by putting my stock intake back on?

I don't know if it's necessarily losing power, but it depends on how it's running. Some get driveability problems with that setup like popping or not-as-smooth running when at speed. If you have anything like that, then put the stock box back on.
