I got a deal from a guy I know for a trick flow intake (he didn't know what model it was), I went with it cause I liked the way it looked and the upper plenum was black which I preferred. Sold me the top and bottom for $150 in good shape. When I got it home and did research I found out it was a track heat and I was hoping for a street heat so I'm asking is there a big difference between the two? I got the upper plenum in the for sale section for trade currently and I'm assuming the lower plenums are the same for both upper plenums. My engine will basically be street and a mild setup with just gt40 heads ported and stock ho cam with 1.7 cobras. From what I understand the track heat's power band starts at 1500 rpm while the street heat starts at idle...

Should I not worry about this or change it out?

Off subject but is there a possible way to get a speed density setup to work with a TF1 cam ? That is the closest cam to stock right? The motor is on a stand right now so suggestions would be helpful. I'm just not a fan of the high loping sound...

Yeah there are minor differences as the Street has longer runners and the Track has shorter runners catering more towards moving the powerband higher.

See if someone is willing to swap as I do not see this being a problem. Plus for the street ride looking for a little better lower end and just mild bolt on power and you being automatic the street might better suit your needs.

For the combination you have the Street upper would be the better choice if you can swap it out. It will provide you the better low end torque and RPM range you are looking for. You do have limitations with the speed density when it comes to tuning. With that cam and speed density you may not get the quality idle you are looking for.
