JLT CAI Installation Question

I'm installing my JLT II Cai right now, almost have the stock airbox off but I'm not sure how to yank off the little hose that's connecting to it I don't want to bust anything. I guess that's the hose I'm supposed to replace later on with the thicker/longer rubber hose they provided. Any tips?

If you look at the end of the hose where it attaches to the air box, you will notice a green ring around it and a little tab sticking up. This is the clamp. Squeeze the tab and the hose will pull off.
Thanks, figured it out though.. I was about to yank it off and my finger got caught on the green ring and it pulled off, good thing haha. Holy crap though.. I think I just crapped my pants going 0-80 after installing the CAI and the 93 Octane Tune.
Nice!! I ordered my SCT Xcal 3 that should arrive any day now. I didn't get the intake for now though. Does the JLT II look and sound cool?

It's a nice looking CAI. Gives a little more growl to the intake.
yeah, if you broke it, wouldn't matter, not going to reuse on the JLT
Does your car shift pretty hard? I put my tune in and is nasty. I wondering if it is ok that it shifts that hard. I really dont want to break anything. I am running Bama's 93 performance tune.

Yeah I installed the JLT CAI and use a 93 Octane tune and you can definitely feel the difference in acceleration.
