Hey guys, just a quick question. Should the rubber 90 degree elbow fit just over the pipe, like the pipe sit an inch into the rubber or should it be pushed as deep as possible, or doesnt matter?

Enough where it will fit into the heat shield properly and be able to clamp down onto the tube.

Just adjust it or slide it in/out till it all fits and sits there right. Though i have JLT and their product is good...their customer service blows...bad.

I cut my heat shield on the bottom where it was touching in all the areas. This allowed it to be pushed down to fit nicely.

As long as it clamps down solid, it really doesn't matter.
