Just bought it on the 5th. 108k miles bought for 8k. Has a bbk intake, hurst shifter, and some type of exhaust, car is to low to look under to see what brand of mufflers. It is literally like 3 inches from the ground. looking for next mod to do. any ideas?

also, my speedometer is reading 20mph faster than it should... whats up with that? and no its the stock 17 inch rims with the correct type of tire on. any insite to these problems would be great. I went from a 03 v6 to a 01 cobra and i dont know much about these cars.

the speedo problem, means it had rear end gears far off from the stock gears.

oh, well that sucks. Wish he would have left the gears in there for me -_-
thay are still there or the spedo would be correct or lower
yeah it sounds like it has 4.10s in it...there is not much left to do to that car...a good "tune" will increase performance and can correct the speedo
i think it has been tuned because its quite a bit faster than stock. but i'm definatley going to get it re-tuned. i think its running lean on the top end. it makes some weird noise.

define weird noise
well its all fixed now. 825$ later. 3 motor mount bolts were drilled and pulled out. new motor mounts put in, new transmission mount, and new ball joints. The "weird noise" was and still is the car bottoming out. happens alot at the right front. But i have already set in plan a way to fix that. Bought h&r racing springs. and tokico hd front and rear shocks. Also i did not know that the 01 cobras had IRS in them.. well mine does.
