Ok just spent 560$ on FRPP sport axle backs. I hope you guys are not lying! They better sound good lol. After lots of thinking and a year of wanting them I finally pursued it with a 75$ gift card from the GF and 5% off from a local nj mustang forum. It came to 561. I almost bought the barton bracket. But it came to like 6xx.xx so Im like it is not really worth esp since I am going though warranty work on the trans now anyways and only a kid cant afford that much lol... Oh well gotta get to cutting that grass tomorrow to pay for it. Thanks all for the help in deciding on what to get!

I heard them in person last month. If you like a deep mean sounding v6...then you will have a big smile once they're installed. Lol enjoy them!

Congrats

If you have a good dealer, they will not care about Barton shifter or bracket, those are so minor. I'd recommend both when you have the time and money. It's well worth it. I had the dealer perform TSB 11-3-18 for the transmission fluid, that combined with the Barton products it's such a smooth shifting experience when compared to the stock bracket and shifter. Night and Day.

I have about 1000 miles on FRPP Touring not sports....extremely deep, not too loud but growl over 3500 or so.

Had some drone at 1500-2000 rpm's in 5/6 gears on highway but has quieted down.

I weighted stock were 20lbs each, these are 9.5lbs each, like any s197 easy to install.

I snapped the OEM bolt when torquing, don't know if these are one time use, found the correct but shorter grade bolts at Autozone rack.

Same thing with mine, have to reuse.....see my post, I tried to torque to spec the bolt snapped. Was lucky found correct bolt at autozone, if you need the bolt size PM me will look, saved the box.

jebus christ those are some expensive mufflers! You could have got a whole cat-back for a bit more. Too rich for my blood.
Just reuse the stock ones thats what I did!

THe frpp sound amazing. They are the only axlebacks that have made me jealous about the sound they produce. Somehow they are just as deep as my magnaflows but alot more aggressive a good bit louder at wot. They are very very nice sounding
