Just ordered.....

I just ordered a set of Boom Tubes :bigthumbsup It is now going to be a long wait until they get here. :happyhapp Even if they would happen to get here before this weekend I won't be able to install them until either Saturday or Sunday.

the wait

yeah the wait is the worst. but just think when you get them on how much better your cars going to sound. i have the slp's, and now my car sounds like a a flipping motor boat ( i love it) i've read tons of good reviews on boom tubes. are you putting them on yourself?

Yeah, I'm going to put them on. Might have to ask my dad or get a friend to help me align them, but I like to do whatever I can with my own two hands.

yeah by putting them on yourself, you can save around 75 bucks depending on how much people charge in your area. jacking up the rear will give you plenty of room.

Congratulations,yea the waiting is the hardest part. LMAO Sometimes. They are pretty easy, you should have them on in no time.

I knew eventually you would!! :gringreen :bigthumbsup Congratulations!!! You'll be impressed when they first go on - but even more so after 6 months on the car - one day they'll just sound down right amazing... Before and after cell phone vids helped us realize the sound difference! :bigthumbsup

Just checked and the Boom Tubes should arive either today or tomorrow. :happydancer: It will be this weekend at the earliest before I will have a chance to put them on. :frustrated:

def install them yourself, it is so quick and simple to do. I did not even jack up my car when i installed my two different sets of exhaust, then again i am a 20 year old guy that is not the biggest guy going lol:bigthumbsup

You should be good to go, you better post up videos though.

Hopefully me and my dad can put them on this weekend, but I'll probably have to jack up the rear end 'cause I'm not exactly the smallest built guy in the world.
UPS just dropped them off today, but with work it will be this weekend at the earliest before I get a chance to put them on.

with boom tubes do you have to buy mid pypes are is it a full exhuast.and will they work with long tube headrs.if i wanted to add them later down the road.what kind of tips do they have are they rolled and 4 inch tips.hey bocephus37 are you going to get gears down the road i have just got 410 mines auto and with bama tunes it is great.or are you going fi down the road.lets us now how you like them boom tubes :bigthumbsup.

Axle backs just basically go from the mid pipe back so it doesn't matter what kind of mid pipe and header combo you have (stock or aftermarket).
As far as gears, yes I do plan on swapping out my stock gears at some point for 3.73's
I'll be sure to let yall know how I like the boom tubes. Hopefully I can get them on this weekend.

so they just attach to the stock mid pypes.yea for sure let me know how you like them i am wanting exhuast to be my next mod but i taught you had to replace the whole thing strarting at the front all the way to the back that was going to be to much money for me. i might be able to swing this how much and where are you geting them from.

Consider yourself lucky Bo, I ordered mine and had to wait almost a month because of the dreaded backorder!!!! But if I would've known what they were gonna sound like, I would've waited 2 months! It's a 4.6 symphony to your ears.... deep, beefy, rumbly, yet a tad refined compared to LoudMouth's(had them and hated them). My question is, how is BigBen on here almost everyday and not know about axlebacks?????:headscratch:

I was finally able to put my Boom Tubes on Sunday morning, and I have had a smile on my face ever since! :D It's hard to believe just swapping out the mufflers can make that big of sound difference.
The only problem is I might be looking for a different set of axle backs when I finally get LT headers and an O/R H. I'll cross that bridge when I get there, until then I'm going to enjoy every second of my Boom Tubes! :racer:
