Knowledgable Classic Mustang Service Locations/Mechanics?

1093 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  DrVett
Hello all,

New to the forums here and before anyone says "do it yourself", I am still learning the basics of auto work/maintenance.

I own a 1967 Mustang GT-A model that needs, at the very least, a power steering pump rebuild, or at the most a new one all together.

I don't have the capabilities to carry out this task myself, can anyone recommend a good service location or mechanic in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario?

Thanks,

Frank.

Thanks Allen,

I worked briefly as a service advisor so I know more or less what any given job should take. I had my transmission pan gasket replaced recently and the quotes I received from some places were just crazy.

I don't live in your area but just want to give you a word of caution from my own experience. I had a very bad (can you say $$$$) experience at a mustang shop in my area. Make sure, even if you get a recommendation, to check reviews online. If I had done that, I would have saved a lot of grief and money.
