I notice the other day that the carburetor on my inline 6 is leaking from someone where. Its a drip really. It's coming from underneath the upper part (sorry don't know what it is called) when facing the front of the carburetor. Check out the picture. Not knowing where it could be coming from, I am not sure how to fix it. Any help would be great.

That is your accelerator pump. Under that metal cover is a rubber diaphragm that I'm guessing has a pin hole in. One other thing I've seen is the cover could be warped from being over tightened. If it is warped, place it on a piece of fine sand paper on a hard flat surface and work it back and forth until it is smooth. Also make sure the screws holding the cover are not too long and bottoming out.

I replaced the diaphragm AND found the spring installed incorrectly. The manual I have says the spring should be between the carb and the diaphragm. But when I took out the old one, the spring was on the other side of the diaphragm. Strange.

2 questions. Is your problem corrected?? Did you replace your fuel pump recently??
