I am trying to convert my taillights to LED bulbs on my 2004 GT. Instead of spending $85 on American Muscle for the conversion kit, I purchased 6 LED bulbs and two resistors from DDM tuning for around $35. Unfortunately, there is no DIY installation guide since I pieced the kit together myself, so I'm not quite sure where to splice in the resistors. I swapped the incandescent bulbs with the LED bulbs just to see what would happen, and the brake lights, and sequential turn signals worked properly (I have the splice-in sequential kit from AM). However, the running lights do not work. I assumed this issue was why a resistor was required (I could be wrong). Has anyone converted their taillights to LED's and remember which wire I need to splice the resistor into? I attached a picture of the bulbs and resistors that I purchased.
