I know a 331 is built with a stroker crank that offers a 3.25" stroke, a .030 overbore and 5.4"rods. My question is, what length rods does a factory 302 have?

Does a windsor have 5.4" rods or are they special made rods you have to spend a million dollars to buy?

Bro-in-law bought a set of scat I beam rods 5.4 off of some company on ebay for like 199 i think i will call him when he gets to work and see he keeps all that info and I think depending on the piston you use you can use a 5.315 rod or something along those lines for a 331

A 5.315" rod moves the pin out of the oil ring land. In other words, the piston's compression height is taller.
