A few years ago, I lost the original lighter port door after using a phone mount that plugged into the socket. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but when I decided to clean up the interior again, I realized how hard it was to find a replacement. Most of the ones on eBay are only sold with the full vent assembly and usually cost over $50, which seems excessive for just a small plastic door.
I figured others might be in the same situation or might just want a cleaner look without the "12V" text or the raised bump. So I decided to design my own, using the exact measurements of the factory piece.
These are made from durable PETG plastic, hand-sanded, and finished with a UV-resistant matte clear coat to match the surrounding trim and hold up well over time.
