I am preparing to buy an 06 GT with automatic and I noticed the option of limited-slip differential for the automatics. I assume they come with the manual. Why would they do this with the automatic and are there any disadvantages to adding this option to my stang? Is there a decrease in gas mileage? I appreciate any help.

Thanks Black06, I was kind of leaning toward this option. I did finally find another thread on this and it seemed to be the same thing that you said.
