Another rookie question: What is the little "door" to the right of the shift lever on my 2007 Deluxe automatic? It is oval and, when looked at from directly above, resembles a race track. It seems to have a little indentation just to the right of it that would allow for a fingernail or screwdriver to pop it open, but I'm afraid to try. Is there a USB port under there? I don't see any reference to it in the owner's manual. Can someone please help. Sorry, no pix at the moment.

I feel like it has something to do with the car being locked in park. Or so you can't move the shifter out of park w.o having your foot on the brake. Anyway, I believe it's a release in case the battery is dead (or some electrical problem) and you need to get out of park.

Yep, canuck has it correct. It's actually all explained in the owners manual how and when you use it..

It's a passage where you can jam something down in there and disengage the park lock.
