Has anyone had any problems using methanol injection (boost cooler) on their Mustang? I have heard it can be corosive on the internal components but have not actually heard anyone with first hand experience say one way or another. So my question is has anyone had any problems directly related to long term use of a methanol boost cooler?

Thanks I am considering it for my car but I just want to know if it deteriorates any components down flow from the injection point such as throttle body, cmdp or spark plugs.

Yes this is an older thread but just wanted to add to it....I think the concern is for guys with positive displacement setups and possible corrosion on the aluminum fins of the intercooler. I haven't personally seen it though.
