I own a 1988 Ford Thunderbird with a 1987 5.0 transplanted in it (sorry guys, its not a 'stang). What I want to do is remove the AC compressor and replace it with one of the idler pulleys. I'm looking for something like this: 1982-93 Mustang 5.0L Billet Aluminum Air Conditioner (A/C Delete) Eliminator Pulley by ASP at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

I just don't want a billet aluminum one. I'm trying to avoid having to relocate the power steering pump and so forth. I just want to remove the AC compressor and or bracket, drop the new thing in the same place, possibly buy a slightly shorter belt(depending) and call it a day. Not looking for anything fancy, just functional. I use this car as a daily driver, and its nothing all that special. Anyone know where I might be able to find on of these?

Bypassing it would make me have to relocate the power steering pump, right?

Does any have a stock alternator bracket from an 87 vintage mustang? I'm probably going to need one of those alt. brackets over the one the Thunderbird came with.
