Our club has been asked to provide convertibles for the Heritage Day parade on February 25th in downtown San Diego. I have 6 lined up but they need a total of 10. Anyone interested can PM me. They are giving drivers $20 for gas and a free car wash.

ParadeStangs? How much weight can the top hold in the down position? People usually like to sit up there. Are there required "parade mods"? It would be a shame to bend anything.

I've done a couple Homecomings with those 90 pound cheerleader types with no harm done. The 05 and 06 cars are particularly well suited since they have the hard piece on the front portion of the top. I worry about high heels on the upholstery more than the top. I lay down a really thick blanket on the seat cusion. Other guys have taken the bottom piece out. Convertibles have been used in parades since the first one was invented.
