I need some help from you guys in NE Alabama. Back in 1991 I had a 1970 convertible, 351W, red with white top and interior. I sold it to someone in Muscle Shoals, who, after a couple of years, sold it to someone in Ft. Payne. That is the last I know of it.
If anyone thinks they know where it may be now, or how I might go about locating it, I would appreciate a response. The only idea I had was to go to the area and visit the local parts stores, etc. Surely the car would be known by someone. I'll try to post a picture of it soon.
Thanks,
Mike

I posted a picture of the car in my profile. If you'll click on the picture to the left, you'll be able to see the car in my gallery.

If you remember a name, or partial name of the person you sold it to in 1991 that would help and give you a place to start. Try Googling, Zaba, Anywho and searching out that person to contact them and find out who they sold it to. Tracing the car through the owners would be your best bet.

You can also try going around to cruises/shows in the area and looking for and asking about the car, someone may know it.

I would also post something over at the Vintage Mustang Forum (VMF) as there are many members in the AL area.

Due to privacy laws these days the DMV would be of little to no hope.

Since the car was in good condition the chances are good that it's still around and wasn't parted out or junked.

I contacted the guy I sold it to a couple of years ago. That's how I found out it was in Ft. Payne. I haven't had the opportunity to go over there, yet. It's about 3 hours away and really not on the way to anywhere I need to go.

Hey,
Is there a way to view member profiles filtered by location? That might be another method of getting in touch with someone who may have knowledge of my car.
Thanks,
Mike
