I've got a 65 coupe with stock suspension and I'm looking to get new wheels. Cant decide what size to go for. I've been tossing around the idea of American Racing Outlaw II 15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the rear. Any suggestions?

Here are a couple things to consider....
1) Do you have disc or drum brakes? If discs with nice pads, then maybe go with an open design to show the pads.
2) If you want period-specific, then maybe go with the Cragar SS wheels.
There are many designs and most of them look good anyway!

Magnum 500's are the sweetest wheels. They were used on alot of Shelby's back in the day...so they are somewhat correct. I have 14 by 7's all the way around.

But its all up to whatever you like. Have fun making the decision...took me months. :yup:

i like using the same size wheel all the way aroung so i can rotate them, back to front. mine more for flat spotting than wear tho.

Ive looked into the magnum 500s and theyre also on my list of possible choices. I havent thought as far ahead as rotating the tires. Thats definitely a good point to keep in mind.

I bought the Wheel Vintiques W40 16X8. Quite frankly, I love 'em. More beef on the road. 225's in front and 245's in back with a 50 aspect ratio and not everyone has 'em. Best of luck!
