Hi, I am looking at a 95 GT, I already have a 02 V6 and have been moding it, however I have reached a point where I am worried about affecting its fuel mileage, so thought I would pick up a GT. I have found a 95 GT for $1600, needs some work, mainly paint on hood if comming off, and it has a skip. I have had a mechanic look at it and they do not believe the skip will be anything major. The car doesnt smoke, leak oil, or knock. The oil looks good and besides the skip runs and sounds nice. Interior needs a little work, but was planing on deleting back seat and reaplacing front anyway with some leather racing seats. (basically it needs a good cleaning inside and the driver seat has a rip in the fabric.) My qeustion is what should i expect with this car? (I love the 02 V6 of mine). How is the availiblilty of after market parts? Will the 95 GT make a good car to build for the drag stip? Viewpoints and opinions are welcomed!

BUY IT! My friend has one modded, heads intake etc... and it's pretty fast. We're gonna set up a race between me and him haha. Just get it painted later on, if you still plan to keep the 02. Check out the skip though, could be various things, most likely not anything major.

The 5.0 engine in it is very easy to mod! But don't just start throwing bolt ons at it, instead read up on it and you will see. You can find parts for them anywhere and very cheap.

Hmm I wouldn't delete the rear seat unless you don't plan on taking girls out in it ;)
