I'm sure we all have a love / hate relationship with our Mustang...

I love my Mustang, but I have spent 10+ hours tracking down 2 rattles. I've found one, it was a great feeling when I found it. At first, I was pissed... I had a rattle on my brand new car, but then I realized this is just an excuse to drive the car around / examine every square inch of it. I also had the fuel pump replaced, it was a pain to be without the car for 4 days but when I got her back it was like pure bliss.

Another example: When I'm bored, I have the urge just to go out and drive. Problem is, I don't want to put to many miles on the Mustang. I'm fighting the urge right now to go cruise around with a Red Bull in hand.

The problems with a Mustang will always be out weighted by the positives. I love this thing!

i hate the amount of money i put into them, but when i finally drive them after the new mods, all of that hate id washed away by pure joy!!

I have dumper over $7,000 into my mustang as of right now..... I know its not a lot in comparison, but it is coming from a 21 year old paying for the ENTIRE car outta his own pocket. And looking back, i am happy i spent the 7k on various smaller things then simply getting a blower. I enjoy having a very sharp looking car, in addition to the power i've currently got. I don't take her to the track so HP is primarily bragging rights for me

The best thing i ever did was get her striped. I can't imagine what i did for almost 18 months w/o it.....

I love my car, not happy about the cash I kiss goodbye. I see the results of the mods and that is all bye bye. So for the most part I love my car.

I think my car has been in the shop about 4 of the 12 months since that I installed the supercharger.I have had terrible luck with this car.$3800 spent on replacement repair parts under the hood not counting labor.So there has been a few times when I was ready to sell it.I have one more glitch to go but right now I am at peace with my car ALMOST.Especialy when I give it gas and it goes into boost. Love that sound. I am going to post on power adders about my glitch hope you guys can help me out

it's all about the love. No hate for my car at all.
I especially love taking it out for a ride when I have not driven it (and have been using my Explorer) for a few days. makes me feel like a kid again!

Love the car.
Hate driving at night in the rain. Oncoming cars suck. Specially trucks that enjoy high-beams.

Love Washing it every week or so in front yard. (Yay attention)
Hate that my window gets this "film" of dirt (pollen? i don't know) on the interior and i can't figure out what causes it.

Love my exhaust.
Hate the paranoia of getting pulled over for it.

Love my Fog lights.
Hate the paranoia of waiting to get pulled over for it. (Yes bored cops can be jackasses about it around here)

Love my Roush louvers.
Have a paranoia about one of them flying on the highway as it already happened to someone on the forums.

Love the way my car looks.
Sick of not being able to just stop at a gas station without someone wanting to have a 20 minute conversation at least once a week.

Love my sequentials.
Paranoia of randomly burning out massive amounts of brake light bulbs.

Love buying new things for my car.
Don't know what to buy next.

Absolutely loves my Stang! But....

Hates the fact that somebody ran into it with a 4-wheeler...$1000 to fix the passenger door.

Hates the fact that an old coot ran into it not knowing where the f*** he was going...$4500 to have the whole driver's door and quarter panel replaced...

Hates the fact that a f***** tractor-trailer threw 2 rocks at her, smashing the windshield and making a huge dent on the hood...$600 for a new windshield and $300 to have the whole hood fixed and painted....

So far, no mechanical problems, just bad luck! :so

Ouch sorry to hear about windshield. Happened to me to. Got a rock into it on way back from oil change. Insurance covered it for me thought.

I love my car...but hat the fact I am so concerned of what might happen to it. I do not drive her much because my plan was to make a stunning show car...so now, I hate that I am always worried that someone will hit it, bump in to it, or get hit by a stray shopping cart. I do not commute in it becasue I hate just sitting on the freeway in traffic with a car meant to go. I hate picking up road debris while commuting. I hate laveing the car outside over night. Finally, I hate that I have no common sense when it comes to spending money on it just to get the right look.

But I do love the car!

I know how you feel. I actually bought my car expecting to use it as a daily driver but now I feel way too protective over it. I drive to a parking lot to commute by train and I get very nervous just leaving it there all day. Unfortunately I just can't justify buying another car, even a beater, just so that I can leave the Mustang in the garage all week.
