So it's the Hurst boot you heard that gives problems? You should be able to use a stock boot on the Hurst.
lower shift boot on hurst t5 shifter
i actually didn't try it yet but i checked if anyone had any problems with this and of course a few popped up, i just threw in a hurst t5, i didn't throw the lower shift boot on yet cause i dont have one at the moment but i found many people having problems putting it on from it being too tight and knocking the shifter out of gear to it just not fitting at all, anyone have any suggestions?
