I purchased BMR Springs and KYB Shocks, from Late Model Restoration. Also I got a J&M adjustable pan hard bar, GT500 strut mounts, camber bolts, & jounce bumps from American Muscle. I haven't installed them yet. That being said, I have read good reviews for both springs. My choice was due to the spring rate being the closest to stock. Apparently lowering with stiffer springs and drag racing don't mix. You can find post by Squidd on forums discussing this. Anyway, I am sure someone will chime in on your choices and give you some insight. If you plan on keeping the stock struts, Roush sales some lowering springs that are designed for use with those. Congrats and good luck.

Hey Mike,

Good question here and I would definitely shoot for the SR Performance Springs (These are progressive as well) as I've had them test fit and beaten extensively on my 08 Bullitt and they've never let me down. Granted I paired them with a new set of struts and shocks it made me that much more of a confident driver and the car just sticks. Not to mention that they'll make your car look that much better and handle like it's on rails but they'll also help improve your acceleration and braking too!

Check out this review below and our Handling Pack overhaul we did on our shop '07 to get a better idea of what they're all about! If you don't have our Forums Discount Code (I think you do!) shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up!

Let me know if you have any other questions at all and I hope this helps!

Got my hands on AM's SR springs about 4-5 months (or so) ago and really like the look.

There are a million options and about the same number of opinions on the subject.

To narrow it down, you need to be a bit more specific . . . . what are you trying to accomplish? Are you lowering just for looks, or trying to make handling or traction improvements?

The defacto standard, for moderate lowering on a street car, with a bit stiffer spring rates for improved handling, is the Steeda Sport springs. Because the spring rate is higher (stiffer) they do need shocks with more damping to go with them.
