Lucas stabilizer is just low-grade, super viscous oil with no additives. All it does is thicken your oil and dilute the additive package that does a bunch of important things - anti-wear agents, detergents, anti-foam, viscosity improvers, etc. It might have a place in an extremely worn engine that is about to be retired but has no place in properly functioning machinery.

Ask yourself this...if these additives were as incredible as the companies claim to be, then why wouldn't an infinitely rich oil company like ExxonMobil or Shell just add them to the oil to begin with?
